Resumo: A polymer grafted to a surface exerts pressure on the substrate. Similarly, a surface-attached vesicle exerts pressure on the substrate. By using directed walk models, we compute the pressure exerted on the surface for grafted polymers and vesicles, and the effect of surface binding strength and osmotic pressure on this pressure.
